About
We are a passionate and growing group of volunteers dedicated to increasing awareness and providing targeted financial support to our core charities.
Caddies 4 Cure’s primary charitable causes are the Oregon and Southwest Washington chapter of the National MS Society and The Children’s Hospital at Legacy Emanuel, both organizations that are close to Caddies 4 Cure co-founders Ryan DuChene and Justin Marquart’s hearts.
Ryan’s wife, Marci, is winning the battle against MS but it is not easy and countless others are not as fortunate. In honor of Marci and the all-too prevelant fight against MS, Ryan and Marci became active supporters of the National MS Society taking part in the MS Walk and supporting other events in the area, and Ryan is currently serving on the MS Society’s Board of Trustees. We are proud to partner with the National MS Society in their fight to defeat this terrible disease.
Justin and his wife Lisa came to know The Children’s Hospital at Legacy Emanuel through the tragic loss of their daughter, Ella Marie, to a congenital heart defect at three weeks of age. During this ordeal Justin and Lisa spent every day and night at The Children’s Hospital and are grateful to the Hospital’s fine staff of doctors, nurses, and administrators. We are proud to be a partner with them in helping provide family-centered care for patients and families as they face some of the toughest battles of their lives.
Caddies 4 Cure began in 2002 as an informal father-son golf tournament and quickly grew into one of the premiere charity events in the Northwest. We annually host A Night To Chip In, an evening featuring a live and silent auction, casino games, and celebrity guests, and the Celebrity Golf Classic, where each foursome is joined by a celebrity golfer.
Caddies 4 Cure is an all-volunteer organization and because of the generosity of our sponsors and supporters, Caddies 4 Cure has raised over $750,000 for the Oregon and SW Washington chapter of the National MS Society, The Children’s Hospital at Legacy Emanuel, and other Northwest charities.
